Don't get me wrong, I like to hunt but for me it's all about water. Hard, soft no matter.

Fox Sports North @ 7:30 CST. It just gets better from here.

watched last night. nice fish but sure makes me long for in depth outdoors and uncut angling. something about those clam guys always being close to tears just makes it tough to watch.

Not just you erik. Today was really bad. Very distracting. Kinda neat to see them just down the road from me though. I've been thinking about jumpin' in on that. 40 minutes from my house.

Lol, watched them today and thought my hearing aid needed to be cleaned. Changed the channel and the audio cleared right up.

I agree, The audio is terrible. Is it really necessary to scream and shout every time you catch a fish. I have to watch it with the volume all the way down.

I enjoy some enthusiasm watching shows but agree they're crossing into John "PETE, PETE, GET THE FRABILL PETE, IT'S A SLOBASAURUS" Gillespie's territory.

X3 - I love the action of catching fish but the over exuberation is very annoying. Coupled with the terrible audio I had to turn the channel a couple times. Just to clarify it is not the Jason Mitchell video posted above. It was this weeks show with Jiggy fishing trout.

I get tired of hearing "He's doggin it!" or "They're chowin it!" on Across The Ice Belt. At least they don't yell "Fish on" every time they hook one. Do that here and you will have tons of company in a hurry.

JMO, it is hard to watch, simply because Jiggy is really annoying.
Maybe instead of all the yelling if they would speak about technique, and conditions it would be more informative and helpful.

OK. If there were just two shows to choose from, Ice Belt or Gilliespie which would you choose?

Door #2: Turn the sound down and turn up Pink Floyd.

Door #3: Just go fishing!

I agree they're both over the top annoying. At least Gillespie is current and in WI most of the time fishing places I go.
