Here is another one between apps sn jewel on 33 ft of water...i did put the mark on navionics

I see your mark on the Navionics too. Can you add the Dumham one on your navionics too? I am not sure how to make public WPs.

The Dunham Gashole Coordinates in Scouts link are.

N 43 12.041

Is anyone else having a problem seeing the old gasholes on the navionics app?

I know where a couple were and they’re not showing for me anymore. New ones are though so community edits appear to be working.

Yes Chowdaire........ and This new one south east of Dunham Island is not showing up on my phone navionics or my Lowrance unit navionics.
My phone navionics does not show coordinates...I have to punch them in
so I punched in the coordinates (n43 12.041  w76 1.819) on my phone navionics and on the depth chart overlay on my  Lowrance & it is showing 16 fow. Is that the depth that you guys are showing for this new one SE Dunham off Williams ?

I see it. I think you had the names flipped between the ABC GH (the one off the north shore) and the Dunham GH (the one off Williams park near Dunham island). I updated the names though so I think that will show on everyone's navionics now.

Yep...I have it on my phone navionics app now.........

It's a much different line and angle out from Williams park towards Dunham island than I thought,...... the gas hole is much further east, and shallower depth than I expected. Thanks for posting this info reeleyez and nj mar.

My 10 year old and I are attempting to make hey safe trip out on Oneida, hoping for perch, praying for walleyes. We are walking on the lake and coming from Rochester. I’ve been reading the threads and I am still looking for a little input on where a fair shot might be within reasonable walking for us. Most importantly we want to stay away from any gas holes or unsafe conditions. I have a spud and we use it. His first time on the ice and my first time on Oneida.

Hoping to head up this sat for 2nd visit. Was wondering what pound test line do you use for jigging eyes and on tip-ups? Also how many of you have caught eyes on tip-ups this tear? Thanks...….

most places your going to have a little walk , as far as gas holes  my suggest carry a spud and use it on snow covered ice .....be careful around pressure cracks too

I got my 7 year old son and his 8 year old cousin out tonight.

It was a blast coaching them. Man is it tough to get them to tease the fish and SET THE HOOK!

Very proud of these boys. They want to go back out tomorrow in a snow storm. Not happening!  >:(

Yo Bruce

Maybe you can get the boys to give this Olfart a tip or 2 while you are at it. Oneida was  not as kind to me today. I was fishing with CuseFan today. He limited with three identical 22 "ers and skunked the old guy.
Good news was he took pity on me and let me take them back to camp where they were summarily delt with and et. :woot: :woot: :woot:

Start each day with the exuberance of a 10 year old . Do not allow those around you to diminish that exuberance.
