Vanallk503... I do not recall a yellow and black jacket specifically. I do recall a mixed group of men and women. All seemed to be pretty well intoxicated equally loud and foul mouthed.

I got out for the first time yesterday. Did the shuffle for the morning. Ended up with a half a limit of gills, and one 12 1/4" crappie. The ice where I was was 5" at best. Any of the white ice only had 1" of black under it. Going back out wednesday.

And yes Trapp, I do own a weighted bucket

Not sure it's much different than Chapman park as far as the railing goes?

I would be concerned about a smaller parking lot for ice fisherman. The lot gets tight as it is now.

got humbled like a redheaded stepchild today on the old girl.......first time out of Taft park and probably my last.....never marked a fish in 4 hrs.....fished all around willard from 15' to 32' fow....heard they did good on Saturday there too........ice was great.....creepers are a must........sometimes we all need days like this to bring me down a notch or 2.......wah wah wah

.....all good.....met a good guy and had a nice chat

.....and got some good exercise

Today? No idea.

There were a few on Saturday, but there were a couple of big pressure cracks out there that looked really iffy and I doubt the weather the last few days made them better ... everybody's got to row their own canoe though.

1st time on Oneida with wife last sat. Looks promising for the next trip hopefully this season. I feel for you guys putting up with those people. The TIPS Hot Line may have had some results. I know now it's hindsight. Kudos for not losing tempers too easy to get carried away. I now know from reading many posts here for a wide variety of fish why people stay in their flip overs tightlipped.... Stay safe and looking forward to visit there again.
