i chose the tent style because its lightweight and easy to set up, the sides just pop out and lock and then screw in the stakes and you good to go. so theres no problem pulling my sled through the snow, just my 15# shanty and poles/tip-ups, a 12 pack, my propane heater and some food

I think I'll get the Frabill XLT on Monday. If a Little Buddy will heat Mac's Voyager it should heat the XLT. If it doesn,t Ill have a sunflower heater along and will fire it up. I don't know how cold it gets where you are  Mac, but here in South Dakota the wind factor can get close to 100 below. When it gets close to that temperature I'm hoping there will be enough ice for my camper ice house. I nearly doubled the size of the orfice in my heater this fall and now it turns red about 18" above the burner. It should almost cook me out of it. Thanks for the help.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.

My camper shanty is the one I was talking about increasing the size of the propane orifice in. I went from about 13,000 btu's to just about 24,000. It has always been warm enough, but it takes a long time to get the paneling warmed up inside. Normally I sleep with the window part way open to stay a little cooler. My son likes it warm so he sleeps in the other end. Hope to find out soon.

My parents let it slip that they bought me a Frabill Venture Ice Shanty for Christmas, does anyone have one that could tell me what they like or don't like about it?

Does anyone have pics of this thing folded up as well, all the pics I can find are all set up and that does not help to prepare my gear to haul everything...Thanks!
