« on: Feb 11, 2008, 06:59 AM »
Well RiverScum & I went out last week and found alittle school of those "beer bottle" perch. Was the 1st time this year we hit Fox lake and it paid off for us. Here is a few pic's of what we got into. ;D

What kind of beer was you drinking to catch those beer bottle perch.....Dang nice tub full of perch...

Ok, next question is WHERE IS FOX LAKE.....Heheheheheeee eee.
I search Mapquest for Fox lake, no lake showed up. So I went to the DNR fishing page. And found a Fox Lake in STEUBEN COUNTY w/142 acres southwest of Angola. That must be it. So I tryed the aerial view at mapquest and there it was.....Next to a Zollner Golf Course.

Thanks for sharing, most wouldn't. My hats off to you. Great job,-good eating. I won't be there catching a bucketful. I wish I was. Unfortunately, I live a bit too far. Guess I will have to wait for open water on lake michigan, June is always the best time for the jumbos. Take cake and thanks again, GOOD LUCK AND CATCH SOME 4 ME.
