Okuma Ceymar Size
« on: Oct 19, 2023, 08:47 PM »
Wife is demanding xmas gift ideas for her and family so I put a st croix tundra 30” medium power rod on my Amazon wish list.  Looking to add a real also. I have an okuma ceymar c-10 on my TUCR walleye rod.  No real issues but the spool seems a bit small for the 6lb fluoro I have on it.  Has anyone sized up to the c-20?  Too big or just right?  I might be overthinking it and should just stick with the c-10 that seems to be the standard size for a general walleye setup.

The C-20 is about on like with other 1500 to 2500 size reels. I use a C-20's on my walleye jigging and drop shot rods. They work well.

Some will say they run a full size smaller compared to most. In reality it's a half size small if any. There's people who run up to 30s. Should be no problem with a 20. It really comes down to personal preference
