big bass couldnt get it out of a 7" hole

 Well at the title says I was out today using a 30" northland trick stick med light had 6lb trilene micro ice line on with a silver #4 sweedish pimple and bam my drag goes out like crazy tightened it and still running I thought I had a musky on but was sure...fought with it a good 15 mins got it finally to the hole to realize it was a bass I could not get its head out of my 7" hole thing was huge ice auger was like 15 ft away I was trying my hardest to get my auger to try and drill another hole couldn't get to it so tried to grab the gills and get it out still couldn't so I finally slacked some line out got my auger over and after another fight got it back to the hole and guess what it gets off  at this point I'm sick cause I never truly got to see how big it really was or got to weight it. What do u guys think a bass like this woulda weighed?

Just guessing 6 or 7 Lbs.

I was quessing 8 idk I've had 5 6 lbers abd never fought like this and pulled as hard

Like a big northern I had once I couldn't get turned up the hole, no gaff, I tried reaching down and grabbing it but it was too wide across the shoulders to grab, then broke my walleye line. WE WILL NEVER KNOW!!
I'm guessing the northern was 20 Lbs.

7lb ?? , we got a 7Lb in a 7" this season, and was  full of eggs.... released!

Idk but all I no is I'm sick to not no how much it weighed and the lenght

The girth of a 7 inch hole is like 21-22 inches or something like that.... And thats about all you can go by...

that happened to me last year with a big bass pushing 10 lbs. It got stuck in the hole and I couldn't open her mouth because her head was stuck. Popped the line and started flappin back down the hole. I couldn't get my hand around her head because it was too big and I can palm a basketball no problem lol. She turned when she finally got back down the hole I had my whole arm in the hole trying to grab her. I got a piece of her tail

yea I did the same after it got off threw my arm all the way down and got a pc of tail then gone lol and yea it did make for a cold day too

You couldn't even get it's head through the hole?  Must have been at least 20 lbs.

cal bs all u want I don't care...anyone that wants to know it was on twin valley lake here in wi. Everyone here has a opinion which is great but y would I come on here to post some bs story I got better stuff to post about then making up some bs story...
