Coach decided to fall into a ice hole.  ;D  His son just had put his trap in it and coach stepped in the hole and broke the trap and down it went to the bottom of the pond. ;D  No big deal as it is only a heritage trap   :roflmao: :roflmao:  but he got soaked to his crotch.  :o   Needless to say he sat in the truck for a couple of hours to dry.   Oh well gearjammer and I kicked both coach and his trout_terriost butt we caught 8 fish total with the biggest at 6 1/2 weight at the official, when he came out of the hole he weighed 7.32 lbs. Please pick on him for us, sportskid and lil bit would appreciate it.

Well you know who here in working on the pot stirring award.  But here is a couple things he forgot. We got there around 5:00 am and as usual Gearjammer and I drilled all the holes. After we finished I went to grab my basket and when I stepped back down I went, yes right up to the crotch and flat on my back.

But what he left out was when I got my foot out of the hole I pulled up a chair and poured the water out of my boot, I then went out and set up my traps, it was about an hour or so later when I decided to try an dry off a bit in the truck.

And low an behold I see a fire being started in the fire pit trying to thaw out some of our fishing group, our buds from work. They where scrounging for wood. If that had been a Jack Trap I broke, I would have offered it up in a heart beat to help keep them warm, but I only broke off the metal spool so I is still good and one of my brother-in-laws dives so I have a shot at getting the metal spool back and it will be better then any Jack Trap.

I lost a couple fish at the hole and I had several flags, so I was not skunked.

I still think if you didnt sink my trap I would have cought fish on it all day, but there is always next time, I would rather catch trout or salmon then pike or bass anyway.

X2 there BB, I've heard your fish stories before ;D ;D and bringing your bait back up the hole alive does not count either as catching a fish.
