Lake Simcoe Questions?
« on: Jan 16, 2006, 05:22 PM »
I want to plan a long weekend fishing on Lake Simcoe does anyone have any websites or know of any package deals?  I'm also going to be interested in renting a cabin/cottage in the summer up there for a week.  Any info would be great.

Thanks
All I need is ice and the fish will come.

Another good operator that I would recommend is Randy's huts out of Port Bolster. Nothing fancy, but his huts are clean and warm with plenty of bait (minnows). This gnarly old veteran has been in the business since Hector was a Pup. It was his dad's business before he took it over. He has always been decent to us. We usually use one of his huts, take our auger with us and venture out from there, especially if the weather is good. Last year we only got up once. We did OK with the perch and also lucked out with 4 whitefish, the biggest caught by my 11 yr old grandson.

I have used Dan Hales in the past out of Phefferlaw.  The outfit is run by Jason Foster. I can recommend this outfit.

Yellow huts were excellent, locals stated always on fish. Great bait part of the package.

Its easy... when you go to the reply screen, look above the smileys at all the little icons. There is one that looks like the world. Click on that and you will get this... http://  your www.whatever.com has to go in between them and it will become a clickable link instead of something that has to be copied and pasted!
Good luck!
