best plastics for perch?

fished yesterday and did decent on plastics. but the guys near us were using fatheads and catching bigger ones lol. looking for a plastic that will help put more fish in my bucket!

power bait, makie plastics, gulp alive minnows. tipped on spoons or small tung. jigs.
it's all fun and games till somebody looses a walleye!!

yeah i threw the kitchen sink yesterday. thinking i may need a pint jug of the gulp alive minnows!~

i tried black red yellow green pink...you name it. didnt bring minnows because i try not to use live bait. shouldve brought some!

honestly? if you're wanting to catch bigger perch on plastics, use bigger plastics. 2 inch plastic minnows and tubes should do pretty well for you. i'd use berkeley gulp over gulp alive stuff, it's softer and won't freeze on you.

Check out Panfishplastics.com   Used their plastics the past 2 winters and absolutely love them!  Good price on them as well!

All about Clam maki, with a waxy on a tungsten. Always use a contrasting color of maki to the color jig i am using.

Yea i threw them all away... those SOB cost me more time and fish then they are worth... tangled hot garbage.

I tell you what I personally have had much success with the perch talker myself. I have no problem with them. They have there place and time.

Shalmo Chubby darter, even without bait, the big perch in my lakes will hit them aggressively.
