It has been a great week of fishing here at my priv lake, my buddy and i have been slammmming nice size gills.Fishing down about 14-16 feet seems to be the spot,wax worms are working well but they will hit the spikes to. Not many flags though, but did have one on that broke my line with its first headshake. I am getting pretty concerned about the ice,very slushy and saggy. There is from 3-5 inches where my shanty is set up, I would NOT go out alone now!Be safe out there!!!I heard fishing has been ok over at Mudd Bay,on Portage lake.I have not seen to many guys out fishing around here,so not much talk about new spots.I think the ice has alot of them scared to go out. Anyone interested about getting together out this way get intouch.My spot has room for more.
