went to a public lake today with buddy justin. I had one of the best days of gill fishing i can remember i ended up catching 34 gills every one i kept was over 9" up to my 11.75 inch redear, justin ended up with real close to his limit and had a monster redear also but we never measured it. tons of pike cruising around Also i had a 32-33 incher try and eat my tear drop like 5 times he just kept coming back, I wsih i would have had a spear. Gills are a aggresive as i have ever seen em, they were smoking every lure and bait comno you dropped inj the hole, i was using a white pounder with big waxies, justin was using a brown fiska teardrop with wigglers, get out on that ice and catch the big pigs!!!!!

Ive been trying to i cant get the pics to work, im a fisherman not a "puter" geek LOL. it says i have to resize pictures and have not the foggiest idea of how to do that, when sombody helps me figure this crap out ill be glad to share the pictures....and over 11" inches is not uncommon at all for this lake, i had one under my hole that day that was 13" if he was an inch, ill bet the bank on it, but he just did the fake bite and was opening his mouth like paceing around the jig and never touched it till a nice pike came through and scared him off, but id love to post the pics for everybody to see...
