how is the ice on the lakes near chelsea. as in fourmile, silver, green,joslin and others. im goin out friday. i just want to know if the ice is safe enough. thanks. :)

6 1/4" on Joslin, 5" on Green, lots of snow on ice. Slush in areas. Ice is clear and solid though.

thanks for the info. i want to hit the lakes friday and didnt want to waste my time if the ice was less than 2".  ;D

We went to Four-Mile lake last week and there was ice anywhere from 4-5 inches, I dont know if it changed with the snow over a while.
