My luck has been at the indy bridge and the flats at ojibway park

been a lot of people at every possible access. My best luck has came at pickle park and north.  There's fish all through the system though.

It's official name is "Veterans Memorial Park"  Its a boat launch that is on east side of river, just south of Bay City on M-13.  Most of us call it pickle just because there's another Vets Mem in bay city.  It's also referred to as lollipop park, and rainbow park due to its reputation through the 80's.

Yup, it was a gathering place of ill repute back then. Only people you see there in winter is fellow fisherman though.  We still joke about not accepting "Shanty warmups" when fishing there.  I think a lot of people dont know how it got its nickname because it isn't the most PC thing to mention. I'm not always the most PC person though so I have no problem filling in the back story to its weird name.
