Hell Creek sciming over

The webcam shows skim ice up to the low water ramp.  Very nice with 30 below coming.

Big sky country! I wish I could come and visit Big Sky. Or Missoula, or glacier… or any of the sweet ass lakes out there catchin fish with early ice. Must be nice. Super jelly of you guys in Montana

It's hell when it freezes over....... ;D temps are to spike to a high of minus 2 and a low of minus 30 this weekend. waiting with baited breathe......

The forecast here in Lewistown is for 42 below tomorrow night with highs at about 20 below for the next three days.  Will hit East Fork when it gets a tad warmer.

38 below at our place south of Lewistown.  I bet we get close to -50. 

I wonder how fast ice forms at these temps...any guess?  4 inches perhaps?
