Title: Sabbatus
Post by: Jschumacher on Mar 05, 2018, 08:08 PM
Looking for a place to go this weekend. Ice is gone here in MA. Was thinking Champlain but reports I'm getting aren't great for ice conditions up there. Was wondering how the ice is holding up on Sabbatus and if you can still get on with no problem. Walking or a wheeler.

Was there yesterday its going fast. Shorelines opening up and you could dig 6 inches with your feet. some wheeler out there. But it did not look good ..shack in the middle was sinking and leaning to one side . there was open water were cars and trucks were last week by boat ramp

15 plus inches today, top 3 or 4 grainey but frozen.
Getting on the hard part but there was at least 1 snowmobile there.
