‘Nother New Pond Paid Off! One More Time!

Been trying some new ponds with mixed but good success overall!  ;) :icefish:

Today went to a pond with a buddy (He’s lucky the battery on my camera died....Camera shy ::) )

We poked around a bit with enough success to think about going home. Then Ron read a decent fish so we moved that way and a little further. We hooked up! They weren’t really committing but enough to keep us on the pond. Lots of looking. Bites were mostly light. We caught  a few small bass too!

One of the first crappy

Just about 13”. Ron’s was biggest. Almost 14”

Here’s a few from the day......Kinda stiff.... Biggest crappie just shy 15”. Biggest Yellow just shy 14”

Geez!  That slab in the last one is a humpback!

There are some nice fish in there once you weed through all the stunted Bass. There are some Lunkers in there...but not many.

And it will stay that way!!!  Nice for a few hours! When you come back up pm me and i will bring my flasher up! Game changer fer sure! Been other flasher guys there after you, several double holes on the pond. One for flasher one for jig rod.

Lots of little bass! I “magine there is enough predation in there from the bass to cause good growth in other species.

I did fish with the BIG GUYS today! Always learn something when I meet up with ‘em! I think bee was a little off today though. All he could catch was these green fish with a black lateral stripe.  :-\  All I could catch was crappy and perch.
Bob caught the his PB Yellow perch. Like 15”!
Hope they had as much fun a I did, even though the bite wasn’t fast and furious. LOTS lookers. Up and down. Just didn’t have the feed bag on. I guess :-\
Glad you made it guys!
We didn’t take any pics on the pond. Those guys are some purity though!  ::)
The ones I kept are below. Those YP are 13s. Bob’s had a couple inches on em! bee had like 7 bass, :thumbsup:
