Next season I’m gonna carry my open water rod. So if a drone is near I’ll hopefully be able to cross that off my bucket list of caught during ice season!!!

I didn't even think of that!   Absolutely going to bring one next year.

Yup gotta have some heavy stuff I would imagine, I’m thinking 40-50 lb braid with a 3oz sinker attached to a 12” steel leader?    Or I may get my own cheep drone and have a little demolition derby? Still undecided.

no, but they certainly are annoying when an inconsiderate operator (pilot ?) sits one over your shanty for a few minutes.

I heard he was only stopping to ask how to look up fishing regulations online, or perhaps ask for help with fish ID of common native species.

It sure was.  Even Erica got a cow that was 32".  Her first through the ice.  Jamey's boy, that was outstnading.  Terry had a couple big ones over 32.  You, Brian, and I think a few others all surpassed the 30" mark.  Scotty and T lead the numbers with over 300 each this season?

Yeah, I put 3 on the ice over 30.   Even topped my biggest on LG.   Jamey's boy too, epic battle!  What a season!   Oh yeah, don't forget about this

now we are talking!  I've even got a cheap drone i could throw in my backpack.   Rig up a net that hangs underneath.  DRONE WARS LAKE GEORGE EDITION omg this is awesome!

No that's a fluke (not the fish).  The true mere mortals don't do the consistent numbers of lakers.  Sure we mortals have good days, but the consistency separates the best.  Too many non double-digit fish days.

Nice little laker....   if he's got one thing right...it's the crying...I can't wipe the tears from my laughter quickly enough.  I miss my googan days...there wasn't internet, go pro's, prostaff, drones, epic speedboats, et al.
