I haven't tried it, but they say on the packaging it's a bottle opener as well

Has anyone tried using the tool to wind up line on a tip-up? Seems like it might be a bit unwieldy, trying to operate the drill with one hand while keeping tension on the line and balancing the tip-up & spool with the other. Great idea, especially when fishing w/ tip-ups in deep water. Just curious.

Even with the variable speed trigger on most drills it is probably a learning curve at best and a two man job at worst.

Just keep it slow when realing in tip ups as you can heat the lube and it will run out. Don't ask me how I know  ::)

I use it for installing my ice anchors and it's great!

Well I just checked my Eskimo Ice anchor Tool that I purchased several seasons ago ..it does not fit the hex screw of my SM Mag 2000 or my 8" K-Drill ..or my HT E-Drill ..so I assume the Eskimo tool above has been redesigned or only fits the hex screw of the Eskimo line up .
