When is a good time of day to catch perch and walleye?

Walleye fishing is pretty non existant the last few years. Perch are small under 12 inches and mostly bide late afternoon, usually small minnows for keepr sized ones. Mostly largemouth, pike, big laketrout, and a better chance at a musky than a walleye to be honest.

Got a 20 incher there about a week ago.  60 ft down!!

Jigging. Thought I was gonna pull up a herring or whitey.  Surprised me for sure!  Although I also pulled in a button down shirt from another part of the lake out of a hole too!
