Been hard at it the last little while.
Early in the day before it gets too hot have been working on the outside getting sheathing properly installed and covered with Tyvek.
Then once it gets too hot I duck inside and work on framing.
Got the loft floor joists all in except the two nearest the entry door as I need to re-frame for my new bigger door.
Back wall of the kitchen, front wall and door frame for the master bedroom and doorway to the storage area under the stairs are all built. got a few more walls to go but should be done by tomorrow most likely. ;)

Looking good Drifter! Are you hand nailing, screwing or air nailing everything together?

I am guessing the tent is where you escape to get away from the biting insects.

Thanks for the pics!  @)

Hey Lavman
It's all screwed together using a 1/4" 20 volt LIon impact driver.
I have air nailers but have not seen the need to use them as yet.
Yes, the tent is sleeping quarters to get away from the skitters.
Still have a lot of holes to screen up at the rafter vents.

Hopefully the outside will be complete next year.
I want to get the South covered deck up in the next couple of weeks so I can order my roofing and get that on this year.
Windows will all be in this year as well.

Next year is siding, insulation and heating.
Hopefully interior paneling the year after.
Don't really know when it will be fully complete.   :-\

What are you using for roofing and siding?

I think it was big slave/great slave that my brother tried to get me to meet him at on his way out side from Fairbanks to fish pike. That was my busy season so no way could I do that coming all the way from Michigan.

Roofing is snaplock standing seam metal.
Siding will be river rock veneer around the base with Hardie Board concrete siding for the rest.

Got the last bedroom wall studed out as well as the front wall of the washroom and utility room. Right door opening (closet under stairs) Middle (master bedrrom) Left (washroom).

Utilityroom, washroom front wall looking towards the entry door. Doorway right (washroom), right utility room. Two more dividing walls need to go in the washroom to separate it from the utility room.

Started disassembling last years screen house as well.
Had to do a lot of resting as it was pretty darned warm here.

Unlike Calgary where they had a little hail yesterday.

You are one hard working man Drifter making good progress this year. Off topic I hope the pictures from Calgary are not the storm system forecast to hit my location this evening. Weather guessers are saying some of the thunder storms maybe severe with high winds and hail up to 1 inch in diameter. Thank you for the update.

Pretty much finished with the interior framing except for stairs and closets.
Going to start working on the South deck and porch roof next week.

Looking from beside closet under the stairs.
Wall and doorway roughed in for the inside portion of the arctic entry.

Looking out from the back corner of the utility room.

Looking from the entry door through the inside doorway of arctic entry.

Looking into the washroom through the doorway.
