Just wanted to post a warning for people fishing around Spring Bay (just south of fox's point). This past weekend a quad went through the ice close to the heave in about 10' of water. Thankfully someone was able to help the individuals on the quad get out of the lake. Had he not been there they likely would not have made it out.

Heading out to collingwood tommorrow. Is there any ice hazards I need to watch for? I'm assuming everyone is going on at the boat launch?

Went out on Monday to Sarnia Beach, turned left from the and drove about 200 yards.  Fished in about 35-40 ft.  Marked lots of bait fish and landed a nice eye!

Tried Collingwood this morning approx. 1km north. Was set up before sunrise but no bites until 9:30. Two decent walleye 2 and 4 lbs and 1 jumbo perch.. Caught the eyes on a silver tingler spoon with a Walleye eye and the perch on a silver and green pimple with a minnow head.  Very windy and not much action on the flasher so left early was back home before 3:30.

Spent the day out by Solomans yesterday. Finally found the jumbos. Had the best perch day of the year so far. Took home enough to eat for supper. Released multiple fish over 12". Biggest perch of the day was just shy of 15". Also caught a handful of eater sized walleye and a few jack.

LML has been a tough egg to crack this year. Especially since New Years. Solomans is just west of Regina Beach. Access the lake at the pier right at regina beach. Head west, the abundance of shacks will give it away. Lots of guys fishing there this year.

Are there rules posted somewhere for the Alice/Wee Too derby next weekend? Are permanents allowed? Electronics?

Had a great afternoon thursday at Glen Harbour.  Caught 9 walleye, 1 26 and the rest were in the 20 and a few small ones.  2 tulibees and 2 small pike.  Used a rose-gold slender spoon with a small minnow through the back for all of em.  in 32-34 ft deep.

Went back on friday and got 3 walleye, 2 small guys and 1 24, couple tulibees and pike, 1 nice perch.  Same area, just south 20-30 of the glen harbour beach point.

For those who don't have the navionics app on their phone, get it. its 21 bucks but you see the depths and structures and really helps you pick spots.

I also noticed the atmospheric pressure trend all week was trending down.  Went from 1020hpa to 990hpa.  When i was out on thursday it was super lower which i think helped activate the bite.  ITs back up to 1020ish.  If it drops tomorrow i'll be back out there at Glen harbour.

LEt me know if anyone of guys try it out! ITs a great spot - short drive from regina and really easy access onto the lake. just stay away from driving near the beach point (kinda like pelican-duh).

I was out at Collingwood from 8am to 1230ish and was super slow today, I started in 20 to 25 fow. And eventually moved to around 35 to 40. Tried all kinds of spoons and jigging raps. 1 tulabi and lost a couple trying to bring them up. It's a tough bite on that end of the lake been going there lots this season

Managed 4 jumbos on Saturday at Collingwoods. Pretty slow day, marking a few here and there but overall pretty
Quiet. Anyone else had any luck on the perch? I hear Solomans might be worth a try???

3 km North of Collingwood today 1 perch 13 inches Was slow until 5:45 pm then the walleye came in strong between the three of us two three pounders a 4.5 pound 2 at 8 pounds and 1 10.2 pounder. Left when it was too dark to see.

Anybody have any issues with their shack being broken into lately? Heard there was a few by regina beach that had been. I hope the people that may be responsible for these kinds of acts get caught. Its unbelievable the amount of disrespect for other peoples belongings and property these days.
