No one has driven on at the Park launch at Pasqua yet.  There was an inch of water and slush in front of the concrete pad.  Everyone walked or quad/ snowmobiled out.

Hey Big Burk, I drove on at Lutherland Saturday with my half ton truck, and went west for 1/2 mile. Probably drilled 20 holes all 10 to 12 ". Actually a few snow drifts you have to avoid. Lots of trucks on ice.  One truck went by us west almost to the point. Hope this helps.

This may sound weird but checking around katepwa main beach area having  a hard time finding a weed bed in that area this year, from 5 feet of water to 20 ft .may it be due to excessive run off and farm chemical flowing into the lakes. last 2 springs, last year everything slowed right down on this lake this year seems not much better ???????

Spent a few hours at Wambach subdivision Pasqua Lake this afternoon, drove out with about 14" of ice and 32 FOW.  Managed a couple pike, 1 decent,  and eked out a Wally keeper at sundown.  This is the shortest week of daylight hours and gets hard to see just before 5pm now.  Tried out my Vexilar Depth/Therm which indicated a water temp about 32-34F fresh out of the water.

Been doing well on Pasqua but every day I'm there I keep seeing a couple huge jacks swim by, just under the ice and can't get them to take anything, I've tried tip up with big hearing and what ever jig I had on at the time, leaving it still, Jigging them, and nothing, today one stopped at was interested for a minute but left, any ideas how to catch these beasts

Ice is about 15".  Trucks have been driving on at Wambach and not so much at Lutherland  and Provincial park side (both areas lots of tents).  Some trucks park near shore and walk out or quad out.  I saw at least 2 sets of tracks headed over to the south shore and never seen any half-trucks so navigation looks ok.   Please be diligent, however....I could hear lots of ice cracking all around me as trucks drove by.    Fishing was pretty dead for me today in 24 FOW.  One Smalleye today and a whole kit of washed hooks.

15" of ice

Lots of guys at Wambach today.

Anybody see the idiot in the jeep at lutherland on Saturday afternoon driving across the lake at 5o mph??  It's guys like that who deserve to go for a cold swim!! Obviously they have no clue that they are putting everyone else at risk too.

Was going to bring the shack back out onto Lutherland Xmas day and put on the East side of the point.  Is there anywhere to get onto the ice by the church so I don't have to drive as far on the ice and come around the point??  I hear there isn't much people driving yet due to the obvious warmer weather.  Just looking for your guys feedback if you've been out there.  Thanks.
