Spent our last day on the mountain enjoying the sun and warm weather with family and good friends. BBQ and beers made up for the slow fishing but im already looking forward to next year.

My family and I went out on Good Friday and Sat. to Rowan's Ravine area of LML to finish off the regular season.
We had a great time both days and found burbot and pike action and found it easy to access ;D
I will post my full results soon. ;)

It appeared that the burbot spawn is almost over but, not quite. They might still be going for this week yet,and now they will be undisturbed.

Anyone know the ice situation on LML? How much? Are we ice fishing or launching the boat on Sunday? Lakes in the Melfort area are a long way from being broken up, will be lucky if things are opened up for boats by the long weekend!

You wont be boating, thats for sure. I'd be surprised if I can get the boat out before June, if its not the ice we're contentding with then it will be either high or low water levels.

The way things are going this week, we *might* be ice fishing on the opener. The shorelines are starting to rot, the lake can still be walked on as of now but with predicted temperatures in the teens later this week I dont expect it to remain safe for long.

If you do go out on the opener, proceed with caution.

Hopefully, Walleye Protector will contact me from this post!  I just bought a TAS Motor auger on Ebay and wanted a little help with it.  I read previously where Walleye Protector had offered help to another guy.  I joined Iceshanty to find WP!  Please get in touch with me at [email protected]

Stepped out on the ice Friday Nov 15 at Last Mountain Regional Park 4inches of ice. No fish biting of course. Heard only one inch of ice  at Arlington Beach and guys are fishing at Lewis Creek allready.
