Hey Layne! The old shack doesn't pull too well thru big snow banks. Might be tough to get the shack off the lake but we'll do it!
Have you been out?
We've been focused on Alice/ Wee too and we're getting the odd walleye but nothing fantastic or big.

Just got out for the first time in while yesterday and we fished the other side of the lake with pretty good success, the burbot and pike are really starting to pick up. If you guys need any help getting the shack back to glen harbour let me know, its fairly easy getting around but there are some big old drifts out there and the snow is banked up pretty good at some of the launches. PM me for my cell number if you need it, eyecatcher and I should be out all next weekend. Glad to hear you boys are getting some eyes.

Cheers

Well it was worth being on the ice in the cold today!  We were rewarded with 2 nice 6 pound burbots, a decent pike and this MONSTER PIKE!

check this lovely lady out: http://brimmerandco.blogspot.com/2011/01/deluxe-ice-fishing-shack.html

This is a little sample, but the good pics can be seen on the link above.

It was on LML at regina beach. I thought about giving you the coordinates, but fish don't move around the lake and the big ones are only at my spot. lol

Nice fish and it's sure a good thing you're not sharing any info! People will push your shack out of the way and fish out of your hole! That must be what happened to the find your own fish character. Nice job! ;D

We were out yesterday and didn't catch a single fish!

LOL, I agree no need to get specific, Regina Beach is fine enough. ;)

You don't want to experience what I call the "Sea gull effect". One gull gets a fish and before you know it the whole flock is after him, trying to get that same fish.

I have had it happen before, it's amusing to witness, but not as fun when it happens to yourself.

talked to several people that fish both sides of the lake and all reports for fishing are bad. :(

It's gotta pick up again soon!

Are there any fishing reports for Rowans Ravine, particularly off the point?

Can you drive to the point with a 4x4, and how is the ice there? ???

When I was last out on sunday you could go anywhere easily WW, with it warming up now it might get a little stickier and tougher to get around. Bring an extension, I was maxing my auger out everywhere I drilled on that side of the lake.

Got the shacks off fine. Lots of work but I am glad they are off. This melting, sticky snow is going to make things more difficult to get around.

Great news about wee too!

I think it's the Lion's club doing the RB tourney. Tickets available at Donovels, Pokey's and few others. $25 entry
