Title: Duck harbor

Has anyone checked the ice on the duck in Wayne county?

This past Sunday I was on Indian head just a few miles north and it had 13 to 15 inches of ice. Cant imagine it got too damaged.

Never fished the duck,but hear not a bad place to fish. Might give it a go in a day or two. Any advice would be appreciated.

Fished here today from  1:30 till dark.Caught one perch maybe 10 inches had quite a few flags with only a little bit of line pulled out. Ice was over a foot thick in all the holes that were drilled

Thank you for the report . Not sure if were going there Sunday. Might hit the oxbow instead. Stiff lines.

I'm threatening to give it another try ,my son and I were only ones on it yesterday..oh ya ice cleats would be a good thing .

Ended up going to the oxbow instead. 2 perch,2 trout, with a bunch of lookers.

Went back up today,we caught 9 perch ..kept 5, 3 pickeral kept 1.
