Best Ice Fishing Mono
« on: Feb 14, 2004, 01:38 AM »
I am back to using only mono or fluorocarbon for ice fishing. Fireline seems to freeze too much and even the lightest of it slows my jig's fall way too much. I want to know what you guys like for a mono that is strong enough but also supple enough to handle well? I use original stren and it seems to not handle to cold very well.

Berkley Ice line. I use 2 lb. clear with very good results. If you can master 1 lb. line you will do even better.
