Kahtoola Ice Cleats - Outstanding Customer Service

Had one of my Kahtoola Ice Cleats go bad., it wasn't a true "Warranty Issue".  I wanted to know the cost of replacing the Rubber, not the Steel Cleats. Customer Service Rep., Cat at Kahtoola promptly offered a replacement "Rubber" at NO COST and shipped it immediately!

Kahtoola fan here, too. Good to hear they're still interested in standing behind their product and taking care of folks.

Three of us have been wearing them for 4-5 years, the best. Our Conservation Officers get them as standard issue as well. I did see a review where a guy in Alaska bought 2 spare sets of the newer ones and the rubber on the sides broke on 2 of them. He had one set 15 years old and they were still perfect but I guess there was a bad batch of rubber compound that resulted in some breakage of new ones. Their warranty is the best and they took care of him.

I had one go bad and contacted Cat at Kahtoola and was given a new pair under warranty. Super customer service on a great product.

I agree.  I bought a new pair of XL's last year and first time out this year the rubber bands broke on both but I filled out the warranty info on their website and they shipped me a brand new pair   I still have an old pair with a broken band but still usable as a backup.  They work so darn good it was worth the minor hassle.  Over the years I've tried the screws in the boots, stabilicers, and yax trax none of which were even remotely effective compared to the Kahtoolas.

I had the rubber brake also. Filled out warranty form on website and received new pair 5 days later.
