I bought the new GoPro Hero2 outdoor model. Improved lens for underwater use and more frames per second.

Icejunky,
Can I ask where you bought the M/H ice hunter rod from?  Or maybe if there is a model number on it?  I have been looking for that style reel seat but all I seem to find are the blank cork handles that you have to tape the reel to.
Thank you!

I bought it from a small shop in Belleville ontario called "Pro Tackle", he is the only full on Frabill dealer in my area. There is no modle number on the blank, but on the cardboard sleeve that came on the rod it says model: 6775

hope that helps

I also grabbed some smacking jack lures as recomended by a fellow IS member

Ice Junky - those spoons in the 2nd last pic look wild!  what are they called/where can I get 'em?  I had great success with a jamming jigs jig that had those "flutter" blades near the hook

came home to this in the mail today.. I have been using the Automatic Fisherman for a few season and wanted to give this a try.

it is a little light, so im not sure how it will act on ice or if it will take a beating. but it is sensative and quick. So far I like what is see for the most part.. closes up good for storage as well

ICE  What's the name and manufacturer? First one I've seen, I like the looks and compact storage. Who sells it?

I attended an ice fishing seminar in Toronto this past weekend, I won a Shimano reel and some power pro line, made it worth the price of admission.. Free

On the way home I stoped at the new Sail store in Oshawa and made a few purchases..

I love suffix braid and wanted to give the green a shot. this trilene was worth a look for a leader at under $4 a spool

This was a spoon Im not super familiar with but one of the speakers at the seminar mentioned it slayed walleye on the BOQ, and since i can always use a hand I picked up a few. Love the XXXS sive swivels as well (both from sail)

Another speaker was showing off this Canadian companies bait for lakers and whites on Simcoe, since i make an annual trip, i decided to add these as well.

ok, these spoons I know the least about. I hit up a shop in Belleville on my way home (thanx for the reminder DL) since they were having a sale. I had never heard of these spoons, but thought the concept was cool. Some clacker beads and some decent weight for the BQ current. May need to switch out the hooks though.. any one tried these, they are called "Fergies"

made a quick top yesterday to grab some of the new Northland gear. Had to grab a couple sizes of the new lipless baits..

and a couple of the impulse plastics, not much in a pack for $3, but they look like a quality tiny bait

There were heavily used on Oahe reservoir (SD) this year for walleye during open water.  Rippin' em around bridges, etc.  I'm sure they will work as well or better on ice.

IJ

What are you going to use as bait (if anything) on your Northland preditor rig?

I say that too in the mag and wasn't sure about how to use it
