I know this original post is almost a year old now but I want to share with you that there is now a metered mono out there specifically for ice fishing. Clam has partnered with Sun Line Co of Japan to bring new ice lines to the market for this upcoming ice fishing season. not only do they offer a metered mono line but they also have put out a metered fluorocarbon line too. here is the link to the metered mono. it is offered in sizes from 1lb to 8 lb.

I had PM'd you about this on the 19th of Sept.  Someone wanted to know the spacing of the colors to use as a depth indicator I believe. That's not really the purpose of the line though is it??
