hey guys was lookin for a sled i was wondering if you guys had any good ideas to make a cheap homemade sled or should i just by a jet sled..i wont be using it much considering i go out with my uncle 90percent of the time..so i would only be using it 10times a year so i dont want to spend 30$ if i dont have to id rather spend the 30$ on jigs poles tip ups..bait with the prices now in new york state any info will be great guys

You could probably pick up a inexpensive large plastic tobaggan to get ya by .
Thy're probably going on sale at this time of year.

Just suck it up and buy a jet sled.

Check out home depot. get a cement mix sled. They are about the size of a jet sled jr, have a molded in ruler on one side and work great. I use it to pull behind my sled when heading into a mile long camp road up in maine. Works great and for $10 you cannot beat it. They are located in to outdoor area next to the cement mix.
