They had a super deal on the Itasca Swampwalkers (1000 gr) 4 or 5 years ago and I loved them! This model seems to be the new version. My Swampwalkers were getting a little worn so I picked up the new Rut model. Wore them on Monday and love them! But they seem to run a bit big............
I normally wear a 12 and went with the 11.  And can’t beat that price: 1000 gr boots for under $65!!!!!! 👍😎

Nice boots . I normally wear a 14 or 15. Wonder if the 13 would fit ?

i have a pair of those boots, they are Itasca rut pac boot , bought them last year at tractor supply in nanticoke, used them last ice fishing season and fall and winter hunting, they are already starting to crack around the toe area, comfortable boot but the rubber dont last. Maybe you will have better luck with them than me.

Yeah, I really liked the boots ,they are warm and are real comfortable for walking, just wish I would have got another year out of them, I noticed some of the reviews on the boots where guys had the same issues of them cracking, I still wear them to knock around in theres alot of tread left on the soles lol

I bought the Itasca Swampwalker 1000g about 7 years ago when they first came out.  They lasted 2 years until they started cracking and not taking on water.  I use them now to ride 4-wheeler and other outdoor activities (trout season, scouting, etc).  Couple of coats of flex seal do the trick annually.  No longer useful for ice fishing but not bad.

I've been wearing Muck boots since I stopped using the Swampwalkers.  I just don't know yet.  I have a pair of Artic and Work Chore. 

I realized that keeping my feet warm was not necessarily the boot but the sock(s) and the sweaty feet.  Arrid Extra dry spray on my bare foot followed by some solid merino wool socks have helped.

I used to buy the most insulated boots i could, always had cold feet, now i wear a pair of regular sock with muck timberlands and thats how my feet stay the warmest, i was getting sweaty off the rip and then cold shortly after

I started wearing alpaca wool socks for hunting and fishing and what a difference, i stay warm and dry, even if they get damp or wet they keep you warm, they are a comfortable sock to wear, not cheap though 28 bucks a pair but they wear like iron, they are prevails made by altera, your right though you could have the best boot but if you dont have the right socks you will still get cold
