Master Angler White Fish

The ice is almost here, only a few more months but in the mean time I'll continue to be happy with the open water fishing! Yesterday i caught my first ever white fish and a Master Angler one to boot! 24.25 5.8lbs Giving me the last fish i needed for my 2017 MA. I started the year off with a 41" 16.2lb Pike, then a 24" Pickerel, a 9" Pumpkin seed, 20" Large Mouth, and yesterdays White Fish. The White fish, Seed, and Pike where new MA's for me. In the past i have caught MA's for Small Mouth, Burbout, Freshwater Drum, Brooke Trout, Perch, White and Yellow.

Great looking fish Smelty! What a Whitefish! Congratulations!  A fish of a lifetime if you ask me. I hope that I catch one someday. Troll around for salmon and lakers long enough and it's bound to happen. Might take a couple hours or a couple decades! Hopefully this ice season brings MA fish to all.

Congratulations on catching the MA White Fish and also getting MA fish in Pike,Pumpkinseed,Pickerel,and Largemouth Bass in one year. Most anglers would feel lucky to catch one MA fish.

Wonder who put you on that Whitefish? And the Northern? Oh and the magog trip for the pickerel was my idea too... Seems like I should be getting paid to guide you on these trips lol

Was that the pike from Marshfield reservoir? Nicely done! I just got my 5th MA fish, first MA ever so I was pretty excited. Hitting Willoughby this weekend..hoping to find a nice 'bow!
