Newbie on Ice Shanty

Hey Guys!
New guy on here.....this site is loaded with good stuff. Coming from the Southern Tier and doing a first time trip up to Seventh Lake in the ADK's for a day trip. Fished up in the ADK's a lot but always open water...First time icing it... Any advice? Thanks in advance!!

Welcome to shanty. You are correct- there is a lot of great info on here and a lot of good people sharing it. Poke around and there is usually an answer to your questions somewhere. You will need 3 posts before you can access the ice conditions and reports page. You may also want to put your location in your profile so people can see where you're from and possibly meet up with you or at least share info on some local waters. Good luck and enjoy!

Fishing Reports and Conditions Board will be available to you after you make 3 posts, then you can scroll thru the lakes available and pick the one you want information about.   Good luck
