Herring oil?

Any one ever try using herring oil on there baits or maybe inject into soft baits?  Thinking burbot and lakers may be interested.

Look at the site I listed above , they have the oil and it's not priced too bad .
Clean hands can sometimes make or break a fishing trip . I use hand wipes made by BaitMate , they will remove almost anything you can think of including auger gas .

we buy it by the quart for halibut fishing it runs around 8 buck a jug.
