Moosehead lodging

Gents - is Tomhegan the furthest set of camps to the north that rent out?  Maybe Raymond's has camps?  Am I missing something?

Thank you.

Not sure if it is the furthest north, but you can certainly access the northern end of the lake from Tomhegan. Easy on and a short travel to good fishing. Farm Island and Toe of the Boot are right there.

Good Luck.

Understand the new land owners up there are not going to plow road from Golden rd in. That was what they told Raymond's . Not sure if any changes have come along.

Eagle Point Lodge....about 20 mins north of Tom Hegan. My cousin owns it...you can google it...or find them on facebook.  Been fishibg there for years......very private. Has permanent shacks on the lake. Great Brook trout fishing!

Thanks Mike - brook trout are my sole interest.  I did see that place in my research but got scared off by the reviews, they are all over the place! People either love or hate, nothing in between!  Not sure what to make of it.🤔

I'm not one to bash a place publicly so I'll be happy to let Gamefisher or anyone else know my experience at Eagle Point Lodge privately if interested.  For clarity my opinion is not based off a one off trip there either and I have been all over the state staying in all types of lodging in order to pull fish through the ice.
