If someone could tell me what the Ice conditions are off of the RT 27 boat launch.  Also the Ice conditions on the main lake itself.

i went out yesterday for a few hours in the morning drove off the landing or the south east side pretty good ice we drove north to where it starts to narrow had about a foot

Pike,Bass,and Perch

also lots of splake and browns. I used to catch lots of salmon there icefishing, but none for years now. State stopped stocking them when the pike moved in.

JHM, I remember going up last year with you guys -- driving out through the channel there.... I was thinking " OK if we go through, no biggie, it's not too deep." Then I was up in Maine for a weekend and decided to give snow a try... I couldn't belive I was seeing 20+ ft. of water coming out..... not exactly where to go through in a vehicle. Too bad it hasn't frozen good this year. I'd still like to make it up there - but we've been doing alright at sabbatus.
