Very slow and my favorite smallmouth/rainbow lake today, caught a nice smallie around 9 3lb 13oz got a few hit and runs then at noon (funny thing is I just bought a digital scale)  I got a fattie, weighed in at 4lb 7oz..weighed pictured and released..just have to figure out how to get picture from phone to here. Was 0 at daybreak but warmed quickly.

Nice the few I caught this year were like pulling in an old boot no fight maybe it was the weather. Nice fish !!

Sorry about the punctuation on the earlier post. Different day but another big bass this young lady caught a 5lb 8oz Larry today biggest freshwater fish ever caught

The bite was just on fire ALL weekend!
Did anybody else experience this? It was by the far the most action all year for us. Just no downtime both days....continuously throughout the day, which is never the case. There's usually lulls in each day out.
To top it off, this was in my opinion the best weekend weather-wise and ice conditions all year.
