I know you can attach the optional skis on to the new models of the shappell 3000. How about the old models. Mine is 9 years old. has anyon attached the optional skis to a 9 year old shappell? I was thinking of buy a set. Thank you.

As long as the rib pattern is the same they'll work just fine. Just put them on mine this year (mine's only three years old) and they are well worth the money spent. Just like putting power steering on. Also makes less wear & tear on the bottom of your shack.

i pulled my sled through 10 inches of snow 2 weeks back and it made it so much easier because it didn't bog down in the snow. those skis are a lifesaver when the snow is heavy.

yeah I have a shappell and the ski's are definitely a life saver, especially because I have the larger shappell.
It doesn't matter if you didn't catch anything as long as you had fun.

No problem mounting the skis on that older Shappel. I had one and added the skis.
