We released one earlier this year that went 17lbs 6 ounces. It was my buddy's biggest and he was totally stoked. Got a long way to go to beat the Alaska state record. Congrats to the young man I bet he's going to be spending a few weeks on cloud 9.

I like to keep the 6 to 8 pounders, anything less and it's not enough and anything more and it's to much. Those big hens produce a crap load of eggs and we really need them to spawn.
