Wed. - Dec 11th - Mission Lake - ice thickness at 10.0” to 10.5”.  Good solid ice.  Depth consistent from shore line out about 600 feet.

Tullibee and small Walleye on the North / North East side of the Lake in about 25-27’ of water.

Should be 12” of ice by the weekend at these temps.

Yes.  About 14 inches on Sunday, December 15.  Fishing was very good.

The trail that runs along the creek from the hospital to the lake is a gongshow.

Where is the launch access?  Is it by the ski hill or near Lebret?

Hi Liteguy

I have had some success straight across from the Lebret boat launch... there are a few shacks out there.  About 22 to 25’  of water.  A few Waleye and lots of Tulabees te last time we were out, about two weeks ago.

Was out on Mission at Lebret, south side yesterday. Tulibee were like flies on 💩! Anyone else have this problem? Curious if anyone throws them back or not?

Mission Lake - Ice 18" thick pretty much all throughout the lake.  Went on at the Lebret boat launch and drove across and up the lake over the course of the day.

5 small Walleye and 1 Tullibee across from the Lebret boat launch, pretty much to the other side of the lake (west side).

4 small Walleye half way up the lake from Lebret on the east side of the lake.

Heck of a nice day for fishing.

Dumb.  They are a feeder fish and are very important for healthy populations of the fish most of us are after.

100%. Release them back into the lake. Makes absolutely no sense to leave them on the ice to die.

I always find February the worst month of ice fishing.  January was hot on Mission at least the 3 times I was out.

The fish also shut down when it gets as cold as it has these couple times we've had -30.

Monday - Mar 9/20 @ Mission
30 to 32 inches of ice.  General snow cover with some drifts.  Mostly hard packed snow, but driving is still very easy.

Caught 7 in total, small Walleye, a nice 2 lb'34 and typical 2 lb Tuibees.

Fished 35 to 40’ of water from noon to 5:00pm.  Lots marked on the flasher, but the bite was not great.  Mostly half way up the lake from the Lebrat boat launch and near the north side of the lake.

Not that many shacks left on the ice.
