Now, Ron, please don't take this the wrong way, but I think you either need to take less gear out on the lake, or get yourself a larger sled! MD

my sled is about 5 feet long, to fit large tip-ups, and the bait bucket. the bucket is on the back, because it will bog down when in the front. i don't use a portable shelter, so it's not an issue. the sled is 18" wide. just rebuilt it, and it's tough to get into my apartment. i live on the top floor.(Image removed from quote.)be careful of the size. myself, and 2 friends built them too big in the past, and had to cut them down.
wheres the sled?
I dont have an ATV or Snowmobile, so I was thinking about finding some backpack straps and hooking them to a rope to tow my sled. I figure it would free up my hands to carry something more important like beer. Anyone have a setup like this. Id like to see it.
hunter specialties make a inexpensive deer dragging harness. try that, i own one, and i'm going to try it.
