Crappie in Western Montana

Was reading a few responses in other threads. A few stated they are catching Crappie in Western Montana! Would like to know where, fished most of western Montana over the years and never caught or heard of anyone catching them on this side of the divide. Anybody?

Fair amount of info on this subject on this site.  Head north to Kalispell and start exploring there.

MT fwp site has a database where one can search by species and/or by body of water over the entire state. Go to the mt fwp fishing page, then look for a link to "data." It takes a little patience to navigate, but has lots of info.
