Been seeing a few of the jaw Jacker's etc being used on the lakes , did they become legal ?
-
Always have been legal. Only the hook may not be spring loaded.
-
So the Jaw Jacker's can be used ?
-
As long as it's tension on a fishing rod that sets the hook it's legal. The law prohibits spring loaded hook setting devices.
No springs=No problems

So the Jaw Jacker's can be used ?
Yep. Perfectly legal. Just use the recommended rod. Some rods have exploded under the tension.

I have the Automatic Fisherman, have had it for years now. It works best in Lockport cause it is always going off there.

Too bad they are illegal in Minnesota.
