Morning Blitzzzz

Only had till 11 before son's bball game. Perfect morning, cold no wind. Hit a favorite warmater spot at first light. Put on a slab clinic. The bite was on fire this morning. Absolute feeding frenzy for 3 hours.  Went through 3 doz shiners by 830. Continued to slay em on jigs and dead bait.Didn't get all lines down until 930-10. Gotta love it when you can pull the same shiner out of their mouth 5 or 6 times and keep catching. 10 largies, 26 dinner plate slabs most of them in the 2 lb range, 1/2 doz whiteys. Kept a doz papermouths for the fryer.
Also, great to see some familiar faces again today, great to see you guys out there Jibbs !


This was the Definition of a slab 16.5", 2.40 lbs.

It was a crazy day ..we ended up with 40 bass or so..5.8 stayed the biggest ..wishing it was the weekend all over again ..beautiful day and see you again soon

Finished product from the other night.  Had to try out my new fryer. Gotta love  thick filets.
This was kind of the appetizer coupled with venison cheesesteaks( no pics though, I didn't want you guys drooling on your screens that bad)  ;D

Slap some hind steaks in the slicer, on the griddle with cheese and some peppers, mushrooms, onions. Dumped on a toasted roll.....oh boy
