Another vote for Niru’s snail hut fab. From pics he posted I came up w/ this.
My old set up (third pic) worked, but the old Cabela’s hut was too heavy, too cumbersome. Using the same home made sled I adapted the snail folding idea. Now no weight to speak of, flip up or down, can pull or push to find the fish w/o breakdown. Tee shirt for sure if sunny. Can stand up to stretch, plenty room for gear. Happy Camper!

3.5 mil. See additional posts under pictures-home built.  I see no reason you couldn't use black instead of clear. Sight fishing is quite entertaining.
Yes, i found that w a search. Wonder if the Japanese adopted it or viceversa.

   Yep that's it.  Still them out on the ice once in awhile  Found mine for 2 bucks somewhere  A tent fly makes a nice top if the plastic rips. Nice build like the base for it.
