I'm a sucker for a cool gadget.  If they make an ice anchor adapter that also quick-connects, I'm in.

just use these(a longer version) and a rinky dinky drill!

Although I cant find a retailer ..but here is another option for drill adapters

We have the auger with this side handle (which helps reducing risk of hurting your wrist while drilling holes because the handle is tied to the drill) on sale here in Canadian Tire stores.
Mostly ice fishing Lake Simcoe in southern Ontario, Canada, for lake trout (lakers), lake whitefish (whities), and jumbo yellow perch:-)

Please add links and photos of cordless drill adapters for ice augers along with your review.

This one is similar to the adapters sent with my HT E-Drill ..the adapters side handle is removable via a snap ring ..works well but I prefer my side handle of my drill

Clam auger extension ..fits the Clam Plate and most hand auger drill units and you should be abke to use it it with other auger adapters to extend them

This is currently what I am using on my augers. It's adjustable, and no wobble when compared to the Pistol bit extension. I have that setup with the Deepfreeze Quick-connect system on both my 8in. Pistol bit and on a 6in. Finbore III.

They make it a quick swap from auger to anchor tool and back. They also are offering the quick connect chuck seperate this year.

it'll fit the drills, but what augers will they fit? Aren't some auger shafts a different size?

I have the clam plate as well as this extension. The first extension that I bought caused the auger to wobble a lot. I spun it without the auger attached and i could see the extension wobble. The auger did not wobble without the extension. I videoed the process and sent it to Clam. They sent me a new one.

Most hand augers are 18 mm as is the HT E-Drill ..Eskimo Pistol Bit /ION ultra light bit..most fuel power head augers are 22mm..Nils I am not certain what size . The adapter you are inquiring about is 18mm. I have similar one that came with my HT E-Drill ..I am not a fan of the adapters handle I feel much more "in Control" with using the drill handle .

Note the handle can be removed via a snap ring.

I put a piece of pool noodle around the shaft and tightened it with zip ties in case it comes loose it will float. then I don't need the silly handle on the side and just use the drill handle

I started using the Deep Freeze system last year.  Great product.  Love the quick connect interchange for ice anchors and auger using their chuck, which installs directly into the chuck of my existing Milwaukee.  They didn't have an adapter on their site for the Nero, so I reached out via email and they got right back to me with some options and we figured something out.  They even sent an adapter to me to try before buying to make sure it would work.  Great guys to do business with.

Also agree with the others on the free-spinning handle on the Nero, it's worthless.  Use the handle on the drill.  Much safer for your wrist and more stable.

I guess I can't see what the handle does for you on the HT Nero adapter. If the auger catches or hooks up the handle is not going to help control the drill twisting in your hand. The only way a handle helps if it is attached to your drill to help stabilize the drill in your hand.

I bought this last year and paired it with a Ryobi drill.  It works very well and I used it a lot since I live 30 feet from the water.  Even without a drill it will cut through a foot of ice just using the hand crank with almost no effort.  The handle is basically so the bit won't fall through the hole.  I hold the drill by the handle on it when I use it and not the one on the adaptor.  The key is to let the drill do the work and not push down on it.  When you actually break through using the drill it can twist a bit but once you understand that its easy to control.  I cut through two feet of ice drilling all the holes I cared to on one battery last winter without an issue.

Hopefully this video works
