Headhunter, Rod and reel went out this morning. Thanks to Old Goat for the free tip up. Got it in the mail yesterday or the day before, and I caught my first Pike through the ice with it, and it was a good one! It was also my first fish on a tip up too!! I think I am gonna like this tip up fishing!

Raptortrapper received the rod/reel combo today. Thanks again.

My turn to offer something up. I just bought new traps so if anyone needs a tipup I can send you one all setup and ready to fish. Comes spooled with line and a hand tied leader(30 lb test line and a 1/0 circle hook). I will also include a steel leader with a treble hook and a small goodie bag.

If nobody wants this I will have to dig through my stuff and get something else around.

I'm pretty well tapped out! Cleaned out some good stuff though, and hopefully the guys are putting it to good use. I've been hammering the pike with the tip ups I got through this though!!

I've never used one. I should have researched more and got an 8inch one for my 8inch auger so the basket strains the entire hole at once. Looks like the newer ones have a ruler on the handle (so you can measure ice thickness.)
