ice gonna melt??

They're talkin warmer temps for a few days. Think the ice will still be safe to drive a vehicle on? How warm will it have to get to make 18 inches of ice unsafe?

Couple days of warmer weather shouldn't hurt the ice any. May melt a little of the snow on top but that's about it.

It's a non issue... How long does it take a pound of meat to thaw in a 40 degree refrigerator? 24hrs? How long would it take to melt a ten million pound block of ice 18'' thick at 34 degrees? Forever?

Remember these are daytime highs too. That's only a couple hours in the afternoon. We won't even loose any snow.
