Fished in the VFW tourney in Chassell today. Not bad with very little wind, although the bite was mostly like the weather.

Went to my shack on LBDN today and the wind blew so hard during that storm it completely filled the underside of my shack with snow. It came through a golf ball sized hole that developed in my banking around the shack. My shack sits 10" off the ice!!! Ended up with a 17" walleye and 3 Burbot, two of which were over 30. Burbot are spawned out and the bite is on.

the car thermometer was reading -22 degrees when we went through mohawk on our way out to copper harbor 5:30 daturday morning.
